The Vain Wishes

All those done for a glimpse of those eyes

All the flippant, vain, inconstant, childish and fruitless journeys

With the modest hopes that pleasure enhances.

The lonely body, repentant of the tireness

That she creates to be time-healed again.

Even then, the unsatiable spirit soars

Even then, the soul exults and dances

For company of beloved, I've hope lain.

But when I check thee eyes cometh in front of mine

All cute, kind, tender, sweet and with mushy effusiveness

The graces make best the defences with scathing attacks

And resplendant with joy I hope for future.

Let me call Heaven's blessings

And breathe into the blissful air

That hath enfold and kisses showered

For I not know when I will be bereft of thy company

But for company of beloved, I've hope lain.

The Tale

My pleasant tale is like the dead roses,

The bee around which never lingers.

Two face-lines do freshly blemish,

For the one face-line to flourish.

Oftentimes I feel the dewy trails

Come salty and warm against the face.

The innocent hands sometimes fails

Keeping the face-lines off the trace.

Oh! How powerful is thee;

That makes the face-line pretend still.

Oh! How powerless is thine;

That makes the face-lines hidden still.

I was content at past moments to lie

As meekly under the bed, I lie and cry.

ODE TO LOVE

Long four winters have come and gone

Fulfillment of dreams, yeah its time!

Her to be mine, yeah its time!

The heart flutters twice faster with exultance

Imagining her visage, ornamented in red and gold

The long years has taken a heavy toll

But her’s the one face, which still remains afresh

It was appropriate adulation,

It was inescapable crush, then happy love

Which blossomed in my heart, and filled it apart..

Long four winters have come and gone

Fulfillment of dreams, yeah its time!

Him to be mine, yeah its time!

The heart throbs twice faster with ecstasy

Picturing him in a groom’s attire

A lot of water has passed under the bridge

But his’ the only eyes, which still enchant me

It was appropriate adulation

It was inescapable crush, then happy love

Which blossomed in my heart, and filled it apart.

The shady trees in the meadow

Brings back sweet memoirs.

The proof to our love,

The witness to our escapades.

I could feel still the kiss

Which I gave when we were parting

The numbing feeling of her skin on my lips

Made me breathless for the four winters to come

Four years have passed, and I have lived

For a second one, I always aspired

The shady trees in the meadow

Brings back sweet memoirs

The proof to our romance

The witness to our flirtations

I could feel still the kiss

Which he gave when we were parting

The numbing feeling of his lips on my skin

Made me breathless for four winters to come

Four years have passed, and I have lived

For a second one, I always aspired

I was what they called a peasant’s boy

Helped with pocket money as measely

Many a times, I skipped food

Feeding her adjectives of beauty

I was what they called peasant’s daughter

Helped with pocket money as measely

Many a times, he skipped classes

Feeding adjectives to my beauty

Its time for salvation

Salvation of me, my love

Salvation of this mortal life

Salvation of my labours

Yes, its time for salvation

‘Cause I will propose her today

Its time for salvation

Salvation of me, my love

Salvation of this mortal life

Salvation of my labours

Yes, its time for salvation

‘Cause he will propose me today

If dreams could come true

Without a tear in my eye, I watch

With a smile on my face, I see

My beloved in the arms of her fiance

My heart is broken and broken it will, remain

I am still the peasant’s boy.

If dreams could come true

With tear in my eye, I watch

Without a smile on my face, I see

My beloved’s arms embrace me

My heart is happy and happy it will remain

I am no longer the peasant’s girl.
